Products Description
303 stainless steel is a austenitic stainless steel with sulfur and selenium content, which is easy to cut, rust resistant, and wear-resistant. It is used in situations where easy cutting and high surface finish are required.
303 stainless steel is an austenitic type easy cutting, rust resistant, and acid resistant steel. To improve the performance of this steel, no more than 0.60% molybdenum can be added to the steel, which is resistant to erosion.
After annealing and stress relieving, the mechanical properties of 303 stainless steel show a tensile strength of 515MPa, a yield of 205MPa, and an elongation of 40%. The standard hardness of stainless steel 303 is HRB 90-100 and HRC 20-25, note: HRB100=HRC22.9.
303 is a free cutting stainless steel containing sulfur and selenium respectively, used in situations where easy cutting and high surface finish are mainly required. 303 stainless steel improves cutting performance and high-temperature bonding resistance. Most suitable for automatic lathes, bolts, and nuts.
